Safe autumn holidays in the Vitebsk region

During the autumn holidays from October 31, 2020 to November 8, 2020, health camps with a day stay were traditionally opened in the Vitebsk region, as well as throughout the republic, in which over ten thousand children were rehabilitated.
For six days, experienced teachers organized children's leisure time taking into account the current epidemiological situation, the chefs were responsible for high-quality, fortified three meals a day, and the culture organizers organized unforgettable games, contests, discos, visits to museums, and meetings with interesting people.
To make the rest beneficial, the children were busy in hobby groups. There were creative workshops in floristry, pottery, robotics circles, classes in theater studios, etc. Various sports competitions and competitions were held in the fresh air. All the conditions for creativity and communication, for self-expression and self-realization were created for the guys.
During the autumn holidays on the bases of the schools of the education department of the Beshenkovichi RIK, the State Traffic Inspectorate held an action "Safe Holidays". The traffic police explained to the children the rules of behavior on the road, in transport, in the yards, reminded them how to properly cross the carriageway at unregulated pedestrian crossings, told about the inadmissibility of using mobile phones and other devices. Using examples, the children were given information about child road traffic injuries. The schoolchildren received flickers as a gift, and also took part in the shooting of a preventive video.
In each district of the region in children's camps in order to prevent unlawful behavior and ensure the safety of life, meetings were held with the children, conversations with employees of regional departments for emergency situations, employees of internal affairs, IDN, who, in a playful way, held a number of activities that contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle in children life, a sense of collectivism, as well as learning the rules of action in emergency situations.
Such useful activities instill in children a love for their native country, introduce them to culture, a healthy lifestyle, form a sense of patriotism and are a good alternative to computer games and watching TV.
