On the health improvement of children in the Gomel region during the spring break

In order to organize the health improvement and recreation of children during the spring break of the 2020-2021 academic year in the Gomel region, it is planned to organize about 380 health camps with a day stay at the bases of educational institutions, as well as at the bases of specialized educational and sports institutions, secondary schools - schools of the Olympic reserve, carrying out sports training of the sports reserve, in which approximately 8600 children will be provided with health improvement.
For this purpose, about 220.00 thousand rubles have been allocated from the republican budget for the health improvement of children in the Gomel region. According to the order of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment of the Population dated 03.03.2021 No. 4-o, the amount of funds to reduce the cost of vouchers to health, sports and health camps with a day stay for one bed-day for each child is 4 rubles 20 kopecks. The parental fee for a trip to a camp with a day stay is set in the amount of an additional payment up to the full cost of the trip.
Spring break for children will take place from March 27 to April 4. The duration of the shift will be six days. When recruiting groups in camps, preference is given to children from large, low-income and single-parent families, children in a socially dangerous situation, children from foster and guardian families, as well as those in various types of registration, under school supervision.
Recreation camps are organized in compliance with sanitary, fire safety and other requirements for organizing children's health improvement. In order to minimize the risk of the introduction and spread of COVID-19 infection in health camps, the implementation of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus is ensured. During cultural events, the maximum separation of children and their stay in the open air will be organized.
With the aim of organizing children's leisure time, forming their general culture and skills for a healthy lifestyle, rational use of vacation time, the organizers of health camps have developed health and educational programs, including cultural and sports events, excursions, games, competitions, classes in associations of interests : circles, sections, clubs, creative workshops, visiting theaters, museums, watching feature films and documentaries. These activities represent teamwork, independence, all kinds of entertainment, and self-study. As part of the citywide action of useful things, children can, if they wish, be engaged in the development and implementation of volunteer projects, participate in the work on landscaping, landscaping the territory of educational institutions.
In cooperation with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, OSVOD, the traffic police, it is planned to conduct interactive conversations with watching videos and giving gifts ("Safe House", "Take care of your life", "Precautions during spring break", "Rules of conduct with strangers"), video clips ("Home alone", "Don't joke with fire", "Together for safety"), role-playing games ("Fire brigade"), thematic meetings with a visit to the Zapadny rescue station in Gomel ("Rules of conduct on the water", "Stop! The reservoir is a dangerous zone"), quiz games ("Observe traffic rules", "Safety ABC", "Safe road", "Take care of yourself").
The attention of children will be offered:
- various excursions and walks (enterprises, organizations, museums, theaters, temples, exhibitions, libraries, parks);
- interactive musical games ("We are young citizens of our country", "Blossom my land", "If you went out with a friend");
- quest games ("Around the corners of a small homeland", "Time travel through the native places of the city", "Where does the homeland begin?");
- patriotic games and events ("Gomel - pages of history", "Belarus in my heart", "I love tsyabe i ganarus, may kraina - Belarus", "Culture and customs of my homeland");
- drawing contests for the Day of Unity of Belarus and Russia;
- literary contests ("Guky native land", "We are from a book, you know us");
- master classes on arts and crafts and making souvenirs;
- sportlandia ("Healthy Me - Healthy Country", "Merry Path of Health").
The set of activities planned during the spring break in the camps will make it possible to rationally use the vacation time, preserve and strengthen the health of children, solve the problems of civil, patriotic, environmental, spiritual and moral education, preserve Belarusian traditions, develop creative potential, prevent injuries, and formulate safe rules. behavior.
