The majority of patients, according to the results of the past rehabilitation, noted significant improvements, namely: increased exercise tolerance, normalized sleep, decreased shortness of breath, improved psycho-emotional state (especially in patients staying in intensive care units during treatment, as well as those who have suffered thromboembolic complications).
Based on our experience, it should be noted that the efficiency and significance of the sanatorium-resort stage of treatment of patients who have undergone COVID-19 infection is quite high. It is necessary to add that only a comprehensive approach to the conduct of rehabilitation treatment maximally normalizes the impaired functions of organs and systems, prevents possible complications, significantly improves the patient's quality of life, and reduces the risk of disability, especially among the working-age population.
Carrying out rehabilitation treatment in a sanatorium-resort institution reduces the load on the outpatient and inpatient network, and allows you to complete the course of treatment in full.
