On the results of the health improvement of children in the Minsk region during the summer health campaign in 2021

During the summer health campaign, 1165 camps functioned in the Minsk region, where 65141 students received health improvement.
In 384 round-the-clock camps, 30,177 students rested, of which:
- in 35 sports and recreation camps - 2,111 people;
- in 293 nine-day camps - 8,565 students.
In 781 day camp - 34 964 students, of which:
- sports and recreation - 71 camps - 5,293 people;
- labor and recreation camps - 97 camps - 1 420 students.

In all health camps, the necessary conditions were created to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19. The visit of children by parents was restricted (prohibited). All camps were equipped with personal protective equipment: antiseptics, masks, gloves. The detachments are formed no more than 15 people in each. Each detachment is assigned playrooms, the stay of children in strictly assigned places is organized. The arrangement of furniture in the premises was carried out in compliance with the principle of social distancing. Dispensers with hand sanitizer are installed at the entrances to buildings. Daily "morning filters" were carried out with obligatory thermometry in order to identify and prevent pupils with signs of respiratory diseases from entering the detachment. The unification of pupils from different detachments into one group is excluded. Cultural and sports and recreational activities were organized in the open air.

During the summer health campaign in 2021, systematic work was organized to educate citizenship and patriotism in health camps in the summer of 2021 under the motto “Belarus in my heart!”.

The key idea of recovery is citizenship and patriotism, pride and respect for the glorious pages of the past and present of Belarus, glorification of the state symbols of our country. Flash mobs with the image of the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus were held in each health camp in the Minsk region. At the opening of shifts in summer health camps, solemn lines "Our symbols are our pride" traditionally took place with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.

Much attention was paid to defense-sports and military-patriotic camps. 1691 events were held with the participation of law enforcement officers in health camps with day and round-the-clock stay for 35,873 children. Throughout the entire health campaign, cooperation with the internal affairs bodies and the regional emergency management department proceeded efficiently and smoothly. Thus, on the basis of the Minsk Regional Cadet School, an annual specialized regional health camp "Rescuer" with a round-the-clock stay for 48 children, members of the association of young rescuers-firefighters, functioned.

In the year of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, “memory lessons” were held in health camps; On June 22, there was a single minute of silence.
Particular attention is paid to holding events to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.
On July 1, 2021, events were held in the educational and recreational educational institutions of the region within the framework of the information and educational project “School of the Active Citizen” “Independent and Prosperous Belarus. We did it together."

During the summer, 1,861 students were rehabilitated in 123 labor and recreation camps. The main types of work are landscaping the school grounds, repairing school furniture, decorating the walls of the corridors of educational institutions, sewing bed linen, weeding grain, caring for forest plantations, landscape design of flower beds, etc.

The summer health campaign is aimed at preserving, strengthening health and social protection and support for the most vulnerable categories of children. Particular attention was paid to the health improvement of disabled children and children with special psychophysical development. For the whole summer, 1,446 disabled children were recovered. Emotionally comfortable conditions were created for the children. Thanks to targeted walks, working in the garden and in the greenhouse, caring for indoor plants, children received new emotions, impressions, consolidated previously acquired knowledge and skills.

Children in a socially dangerous situation, including children who are on various types of registration - 1259 students, and children with whom individual preventive work is carried out - 509 people did not go unnoticed. For this category of children, various events were organized aimed at the formation of civil law culture, healthy lifestyle skills, prevention of asocial deviations of adolescents: interactive games "Legal scholar", drawing competition "My responsibilities in the family", an hour of questions and answers "Family and conflicts ”acquaintance with the Orthodox library.

Orphans and children left without parental care in the Minsk region have recovered 2319 people.
Children, from large families - 9101 people and from low-income families - 2268 students.

Control over the work of health camps in the summer is ensured by conducting raid trips of regional departments and departments, in accordance with the supervised directions. To this end, weekly monitoring of all types of camps was carried out on the ground in 23 districts (the city of Zhodino) of the Minsk region. In total, more than 1,760 visits of working groups to study the activities of health camps in the region took place in the Minsk region.
In the Minsk region, through the joint efforts of all concerned, with the support of the authorities, all the necessary measures were taken to ensure that parents, sending their children to camps, were absolutely calm about their life and health.
