In order to provide a high-quality organization of health improvement and recreation for children and adolescents during the winter holidays of the 2021-2022 academic year, to create conditions for active developmental leisure of students in the period from December 25, 2021 to January 9, 2022, 258 health camps were organized with day and round-the-clock stay of children, including:

256 day camps organized on the basis of institutions of general secondary education, additional education for children and youth, where, according to operational data, more than 8,800 schoolchildren from the capital improved their health;
2 round-the-clock specialized camps lasting 9 days, organized on the basis of country health camps, where 193 children of Minsk were rehabilitated.

In camps with day stay for children, three meals a day were organized (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea).
Each educational institution has developed a special health-improving and educational program for students, including New Year holidays, sports and recreation, sports and cultural events, games, competitions, tournaments, classes in interest associations: circles, sections, clubs, viewing art and documentaries, themed discos and other events.
In addition, for children during the winter holidays, students were offered specialized programs. The list of specialized programs is quite wide: environmental, artistic, career guidance, programs for the prevention of child road injuries, sports, etc.
For children attending health camps with a day stay, maximum conditions were created for recovery, recreation, rational use of vacation time, the formation of a common culture and healthy lifestyle skills.
196 Minsk schoolchildren got the opportunity for 9 days to usefully spend time, improve their health and relax during the winter holidays not in the city, but in the countryside in the camps "Horizon" of the branch of the open joint-stock company "Management company of the holding "Horizon" Social Complex and "Druzhba » RUE Belpochta.
In the recreation camp "Horizon" six educational programs were offered for children to choose from. So, for example, young bloggers at Blogger Camp were not only taught how to create a Tik Tok account from scratch and promote it, look for trends and use them to increase their audience, but also talked about safe behavior on the Internet.
In the IT-profile classes, they taught the basics of website building, where the children were offered a set of classes, during which they took the first steps in creating a web page.
Those who like to break their heads over a difficult task have gathered in the IQ Camp project. At the intellectual development classes, the children not only trained logical thinking, but also got acquainted with the basics of economics and finance.
In the educational project Magic Camp, the guys deepened their knowledge of the English language. Classes are aimed at removing the language barrier, increasing vocabulary and increasing interest in learning English.
The smallest vacationers gathered in a developing project, which was affectionately called "Nyushechki". Children here receive mental arithmetic skills, using an abacus as an assistant - a counting board for calculations.
At the doodling master class, students were able to create an art puzzle of the happiest New Year's memories and moments. So, through the game, children got the opportunity to get acquainted with the world of their feelings and emotions.
For the first time in the off-season, the recreation camp "Druzhba" took the children. Basically, the children of the employees of RUE “Belpochta” underwent rehabilitation here. The camp has a good material base. The children were provided with comfortable rooms for living, an assembly hall, sports grounds, a gym, a library, rooms for circle work, a modern and well-equipped medical unit.
The profile change program of the recreation camp "Druzhba" "Advent Calendar "Friendship" is focused on the formation of a culture of leisure among pupils, motivation for creativity and knowledge. The children were offered various competitive and game and show programs, performances, theater and musical living rooms, quests, art festivals, games, presentations, etc.
Taking into account the round-the-clock stay of children in the camp, a full-fledged 5-times balanced diet was organized for them, which, in combination with natural factors, outdoor activities, educational and physical culture and sports activities, provides a good healing effect.
Camp activities during the winter holidays
2021-2022 academic year was carried out taking into account the implementation of the recommended sanitary and hygienic measures in full. The pupils observed the principles of social distancing; when catering, the placement of children in the dining halls was carried out taking into account the necessary distance.
The implementation of priority epidemically significant measures is ensured in all health camps. Particular attention is paid to the nutrition, systematic control over the work of catering units, compliance with sanitary norms and rules, organization of protection of health camps and provision of access control.
