For 9 months of 2022, sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region sold more than 80 thousand vouchers, of which about 30 thousand vouchers to the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, about 50 thousand vouchers to legal entities and individuals. The volume of proceeds from the sale of sanatorium and health-improving services amounted to more than 69.0 million rubles.

Health resorts of the region pay special attention to the export of health-improving services. In order to attract foreign citizens, the most comfortable conditions for recreation are created: superior rooms, leisure activities, high-quality food; a wide range of services is offered: medical, diagnostic, cosmetic and others; the sites contain price lists for the cost of vouchers and services, it is possible to book vouchers through the site; during the period of decrease in consumer demand, a system of discounts is applied, promotions are held.

For 9 months, almost 14 thousand foreign citizens were able to improve their health and improve their health in the sanatoriums of the Gomel region. The volume of revenue from the export of sanatorium and health services increased by 196.6% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to about 13.6 million rubles.

The average occupancy of health resorts in the Gomel region was 83%.

It should be noted the work of health resorts to preserve and strengthen the material and technical base. For 9 months of 2022, more than 7 million rubles of funds were allocated for these purposes, including more than 39 thousand rubles for creating conditions for a barrier-free environment for physically weakened persons (design work, modernization and reconstruction work, repairs of administrative and residential premises, utility blocks, etc., new high-tech equipment was purchased).

In order to increase the demand for sanatorium and health-improving services, the health resorts of the Gomel region continue to work on creating the most attractive and comfortable conditions for vacationers, strengthening the material, technical and medical base, mastering and introducing modern methods of treatment.
