New Year and Christmas holidays are the time to take a break from everyday routine and immerse yourself in a fairy tale.

For example, a health camp is an excellent way to organize children's leisure during the holidays. While the parents are working, the child improves health, relaxes, communicates with his peers and gets a lot of positive emotions under the supervision of attentive qualified staff and three full hot meals a day.

During the winter holidays, 9.3 thousand schoolchildren of the Brest region improved their health. Health camps are organized on the basis of 250 institutions of general secondary education, additional education for children and youth, and specialized educational and sports institutions.

The average cost of a voucher in a health camp was 44 rubles 37 kopecks. Each child was provided with state assistance in the form of a reduction in the cost of vouchers in the amount of 4 rubles 55 kopecks for one bed-day. The recovery period for children ranged from 6 to 9 days.

Particular attention was paid to the improvement of socially unprotected categories of children. 63 orphans, 94 disabled children, 583 children who are on preventive records and are in a socially dangerous situation have been rehabilitated.

In a short time, the guys were able to learn something new, meet new friends, get positive emotions and a positive charge. A variety of events were organized in each health camp for children: New Year's mornings and evenings, exciting game programs, quizzes, relay races, sportlands, music competitions, excursions, circles and sections.

Every year more and more residents of the republic and foreign guests during the New Year holidays prefer to relax with their families in a comfortable and modern sanatorium, where there is an opportunity not only to be in nature, breathe fresh air, but also receive treatment and various rehabilitation procedures .

Since the end of December 2022, the sanatorium and resort institutions of the Brest region have organized New Year and Christmas tours of various durations. Sanatoriums offered vouchers, including meals, accommodation and medical procedures. In all health resorts, a New Year's program was developed, which included a festive banquet, various excursions, entertainment shows for children and adults with gifts, sports events, visits to playgrounds and rooms, film shows, etc.

From year to year, the teams of the health resorts of the Brest region make great efforts to provide vacationers with a full-fledged unforgettable vacation.

It should be noted that the load of health resorts during the New Year holidays was about 60%, among vacationers 47% were foreign citizens, mostly living in the Russian Federation.
