On January 24, within the framework of the information and educational project "School of the Active Citizen" in the sanatorium school "Borovichok" of the branch "Sanatorium "Radon" of JSC "Belagrozdravnitsa", a lesson was held in the form of a dialogue platform with children of grades 9-11 on the topic "Science and innovation - the present and the future of our economy." Lesson objectives: to expand students' understanding of the main achievements in the field of science and technology of the Republic of Belarus, to form students' active citizenship, a sense of patriotism, to instill responsibility and independence, a sense of pride in the achievements of their country and compatriots.

A. Ch. Gonchar, the head of the representative office of the Grodno Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium and Resort Treatment of the Population, took part in the dialogue platform; N. P. Minko - acting chief physician of the branch "Sanatorium" Radon "; V.V. Marmysh - Deputy Chief Physician (for ideological, mass cultural and educational work) of the branch "Sanatorium" Radon ", M.E. Loshkovskaya - Head of the Education Department of the Dyatlovsky District Executive Committee.

During the information hour, the guys expanded their understanding of the main achievements in the field of science and technology of the Republic of Belarus.

A.Ch. Gonchar introduced the children to the latest achievements of science, which are used in the rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment of the population of the Republic of Belarus. N.P.Minko presented the latest developments that are used in the sanatorium "Radon". Several videos were presented about scientific developments that are being carried out today in other areas of modern science in the country, including information about the anti-covid vaccine, electric cars, artificial heart valves, the Belarusian cancer vaccine. The information about the new domestic laptop aroused great interest among the children.

M.E. Loshkovskaya dwelled in detail on the measures taken today in the Republic of Belarus and in the Grodno region, in particular, to support talented youth.

The information hour flew by quickly and imperceptibly. There was a genuine interest among the guys in the topic under consideration. Soon they will return home and only by their own efforts and efforts, skills and talents will they make a worthy contribution to the good of our Motherland.
