February 22, 2023 within the framework of the information and educational project "School of the Active Citizen" in the branch "Children's Sanatorium "Sluch" of the Open Joint-Stock Company "Belagrozdravnitsa", a lesson was held in the form of a dialogue platform with children of 11 grades (22 students were present) on the topic "Pride for Belarus. Energy for creation, energy for the future” (Ensuring the energy security of the country). The objectives of the lesson: to expand students' understanding of the main achievements of the energy complex of the Republic of Belarus, to identify the environmental prospects of the planet, to form in students an active position of economy and thrift, a sense of patriotism, a sense of pride in the achievements of their country and people.

Irina Yauseyeva, Head of the Representative Office of the Minsk Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, Andrei Nedelko, Deputy Director (for ideological, cultural, mass and educational work) of the Sluch Children's Sanatorium took part in the dialogue platform.

During the dialogue, the guys expanded their understanding of the main sources of electricity and heat in the Republic of Belarus, about the history and development of the country's energy complex. Assessed the opportunity and organized a discussion on the transition of the energy industry to renewable energy sources. We learned in more detail about the prospects and advantages of the development of nuclear energy. Discussed the feasibility of energy saving in everyday life.

To visualize the information on the topic under discussion, a multimedia presentation prepared by the National Institute of Education was used, as well as videos from the programs of the ONT TV channel.
