Work of sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region in the 1st quarter of 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, sanatorium-resort and health-improving organizations of the Gomel region sold 24,707 vouchers, which is 15% more than in the first quarter of 2022, of which 10,306 vouchers were sold to the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, and 5,965 vouchers to legal entities , individuals 8436 vouchers. The volume of revenue from the sale of sanatorium and health services increased by 35.6% compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 22.79 million rubles.

The average occupancy rate of health resorts in the Gomel region for the first quarter of 2023 was 83.5%.

In order to promote sanatorium and health services in the domestic and foreign markets, health resorts of the region are actively working to advertise the services provided: information is posted and updated in the media, on the official websites of sanatoriums, by maintaining accounts on social networks Instagram, Facebook, VK, OK , TikTok and Telegram messenger. Push-mailing, email-mailing is carried out to regular customers, organizations of the Republic of Belarus, trade unions and primary cells in order to inform the population about the benefits and quality of health resort services. The sanatoriums have developed brochures, booklets, information leaflets containing information about the profile of treatment, types of procedures and the uniqueness of the natural healing factors used, which are distributed among vacationers. Many sanatorium-resort organizations of the region take part in republican and international exhibitions-fairs, forums, congresses.

Health resorts of the region pay special attention to the export of health-improving services. To attract foreign citizens, the most comfortable conditions for recreation are created: superior rooms, leisure activities, high-quality food; a wide range of services is offered: medical, diagnostic, cosmetic and others; the sites contain price lists for the cost of vouchers and services, it is possible to book vouchers through the site; during the period of decrease in consumer demand, a system of discounts is applied, promotions are held.

So, in the first quarter of 2023, 4,706 vouchers were sold to citizens of near and far abroad, revenue from the sale of services amounted to 5.3 million rubles, which is 85.6% more than in the first quarter of 2022.

In 2023, the work of health resorts continued to develop and improve the material and technical base. More than 2 million rubles were allocated for these purposes in the first quarter, including 5.0 thousand rubles for creating conditions for a barrier-free environment for physically impaired persons.

Health resorts of the region are waiting for vacationers and are working to create attractive and comfortable conditions for recreation.
