On May 13, 2023, the administration of the Frunzensky district of Minsk hosted a city training seminar on organizing children's health improvement in the summer of 2023.
The seminar was organized by the representative office of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment of the Population, the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The seminar was attended by representatives of interested committees, departments and services of the city, specialists of education departments of administrations of districts of Minsk, in charge of health issues, heads of out-of-town health camps.
The seminar was opened by the head of the Minsk City Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment of the Population Nafranovich V.

In his speech, he noted that for the first time during the summer school holidays, 1/3 of suburban children's health camps organize five shifts lasting 18 days each:
- In the summer, schoolchildren in the capital will be able to improve their health in 30 suburban children's health camps with round-the-clock stay, and the work of 10 of them in 5-shift mode will improve the health of more children.

According to the head of the representative office, the average cost of a tour for 18 days in such a camp will be a little over 720 rubles. At the same time, the state significantly compensates for its cost. The amount of the subsidy will be 264 rubles (36.6% of the cost of the tour).
“Traditionally, enterprises employing the parents of children and trade union committees provide assistance in reducing the cost of vouchers,” continued V. Nafranovich.

He also said that this year 72,345 young Minsk residents will be able to relax in children's camps of all types during the summer holidays (in 2022 - 68,037 children).
V. Nafranovich drew attention to the fact that rehabilitation at the expense of the budget of the capital of children with disabilities is becoming traditional: with diabetes mellitus and cardiopathology.

– In 2023, an agreement was reached to improve the health of 90 young Minsk residents with diabetes and 25 with cardio-rheumatological profile, accompanied by one of the parents on the basis of the Raketa health complex of the Belaeronavigatsia state enterprise, ”he explained. - In addition, 26 orphans of preschool age will be sent (at the expense of the city budget) to the Yubileiny health camp of the Minskzelenstroy enterprise.

In addition, Valery noted that in the summer of 2023, in military-patriotic camps at the bases of military units, border outposts, educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergencies, the rehabilitation of children who came into conflict with the law and who are brought up in dysfunctional families will be organized.

Representatives of interested institutions and services of Minsk also spoke to the participants of the seminar.

Meleshko D., Deputy Head of the Prevention Department - Head of the Group for Prevention and Juvenile Offenses of the Department for Law Enforcement and Prevention of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, reported on the organization of public order protection in country health camps.

The main fire safety requirements for the opening and operation of summer recreation camps were announced by the head of the department for supervision and prevention of the institution "Minsk City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Tarasenko V.
Rysevets A., head of the department of educational and ideological work of the education committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told the participants of the seminar about the peculiarities of educational work in health camps.

The issues of personnel and medical support of the summer health campaign were covered by the head of the department of medical care for mothers and children of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Yanushchik E.
Getyuk GV, Deputy Chief Physician of the State Institution "Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology" told the audience about the sanitary and hygienic requirements for the organization and functioning of country health camps.

Lukashevich N.V., director of the State Enterprise “School Catering Combine in Minsk, spoke about the staffing of catering units of country health camps and compliance with the requirements for catering in accordance with the approved standards.
Head of the Financing, Accounting and Reporting Department of the Representative Office S. Moisinovich brought to the participants of the seminar information on compliance with the current legislation when selling vouchers to country health camps using funds from the republican budget

Summing up the results of the seminar, Valery Nafranovich ordered the heads of health camps to take comprehensive measures to ensure the proper organization of the safe stay of children who are on rehabilitation in country health camps.
He also drew attention to the personal responsibility of the heads of enterprises-owners of country camps, heads of health camps to take immediate measures to eliminate and prevent offenses, accidents and emergencies during the summer health campaign.
