On October 21, 2023, the branch “Sanatorium “Radon”” of OJSC “Belagrozdravnitsa” celebrated its 30th anniversary. Throughout its history, the Radon sanatorium has been considered one of the best in the country for relaxation, recovery and treatment not only for Belarusians, but for foreign guests who come here for unique natural radon baths and local sapropel mud. Today, the health resort is rightfully a recognized leader in the industry, where the most modern equipment and advanced technologies are successfully introduced. Being the hallmark of the region, the Radon sanatorium annually makes a significant contribution to the volume of exports of tourism services in the Grodno region.

The Radon sanatorium has a rich diagnostic and treatment base and provides more than three hundred types of medical services. There are physiotherapy rooms, a laser therapy room, an amber room, a speleoclimatic chamber, a spa center, a cosmetology center, a modern clinic and a biochemical laboratory for determining biochemical parameters, hormonal status, and tumor markers.

  The main profile of the health resort is the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, therefore the field of traumatology and orthopedics is in great demand. In 2022-2023, hematology and aesthetic gynecology became widespread. In 2023, a new expert-class ultrasound system was purchased for research, which is available not only to guests of the sanatorium, but also to residents of Dyatlovsky and nearby areas. At the sanatorium there is a swimming pool and an aqua complex with a list of saunas and hydromassage Jacuzzis, access to which is open to everyone.

On October 20, the sanatorium hosted a republican scientific and practical conference with the participation of scientists and practicing doctors, which laid a powerful information base for further use in the improvement and treatment of the population, and a solemn anniversary meeting in which the chairman of the Dyatlovsky district executive committee, the chairmen of the Grodno regional and the district Council of Deputies, the head of the Grodno regional department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment of the Population, the management of OJSC Belagrozdravnitsa and others.

The celebration was attended by the former chief physician of the Radon sanatorium, Nikolai Mazur, who was at the forefront of shaping the image of the sanatorium.

Many kind words were said to the staff of the sanatorium. Specialists were awarded certificates of honor, letters of gratitude, including from the district and regional executive committees, the district and regional Councils of Deputies, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Agricultural Union, JSC Belagrozdravnitsa, the Grodno regional department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment population and other departments and associations.
