The happy and cheerful time of children's holidays during the winter holidays is over and the children will remember with nostalgia the interesting time spent in health camps.

One of the options for children's leisure during the holiday period is a health camp. While parents work, the child improves his health, receives three full hot meals a day, communicates with his peers and receives a lot of positive emotions under the supervision of attentive, qualified staff.

During the winter holidays, 9.4 thousand schoolchildren in the Brest region were healed. Health camps were organized at 255 institutions of general secondary education, additional education for children and youth, and specialized educational and sports institutions.

The average cost of a trip to a health camp was 47 rubles 28 kopecks. Each child received government assistance in the form of a reduction in the cost of vouchers in the amount of 5 rubles per bed-day. The period of recovery for children ranged from 6 to 8 days.

Particular attention was paid to improving the health of socially vulnerable categories of children. 123 orphans, 128 disabled children, 606 children registered for preventive care and in a socially dangerous situation, and 2,258 children from large families were healed.

In a short time, the children were able to learn something new, meet new friends, get positive emotions and a positive charge. In each health camp for children, a variety of events were held: New Year's matinees and evenings, exciting game programs, quizzes, relay races, competitions between teams, sportslands, music competitions, excursions, trips to the cinema, theater, clubs and sections.

In addition, each child could attend additional classes, which were organized at the request of students. Classes were conducted in mathematics, physics, foreign languages, Russian and Belarusian languages and other academic subjects.

The region took comprehensive measures to create the most favorable and safe conditions for schoolchildren in health camps.

During the winter holidays, a warm atmosphere reigned in school camps, warmed by kindness and care.
