Activities of sanatorium and resort organizations in the Mogilev region in 2023

During 2023, sanatorium and resort organizations in the Mogilev region maintained the availability of medical and health services, which allowed for an increase in key performance indicators compared to 2022. They sold 35,656 vouchers, which is 1,500 more vouchers or 104.4 percent compared to the 2022 level.

6,240 vouchers were sold to foreign citizens, or 1.3 times more than in 2022. In the total volume of sales, vouchers for foreign citizens amounted to 17.5 percent (in 2022 – 14.1).

The interest of foreign citizens was shown in all sanatoriums in the region, their growth was noted in almost every one. The largest number of foreign citizens - 60.8 percent of the total number of those staying in the region's sanatoriums - visited the DUP "Sanatorium named after. V.I.Lenin."

Revenue from the sale of services by sanatoriums in the region for the year amounted to 33,692.6 thousand rubles, or 125.4 percent by 2022. The growth was noted in all health resorts in the region.

Revenue from the sale of services to foreign citizens amounted to 5903.3 thousand rubles or 136.0 percent by 2022.

The occupancy rate of sanatoriums increased to 85.4 percent over the year, compared to 80.3 in 2022.

In 2023, 2,866.5 thousand rubles were allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of sanatoriums, including 57.2 thousand rubles to create conditions for a barrier-free environment for physically weakened persons.

The largest amount of funds was allocated for strengthening: sanatoriums "Shinnik" OJSC "Belshina", "Sosny" OJSC "Mogilevkhimvolokno" and "Sanatorium named after. V.I.Lenin."

Repairs were carried out in health resorts, medical equipment and medical products were updated, kitchen technological equipment, furniture, soft and household equipment were purchased, landscaping was carried out, etc.

All sanatorium and resort organizations are actively involved in creating a universal environment for people with disabilities and are recognized as partially accessible to physically impaired persons or wheelchair users. They have 15 rooms with 30 beds, specially equipped for this category of population.

Subjects of tourism activities are actively involved in the sale of vouchers, with which 114 agreements have been concluded.

For vacationers in the sanatoriums of the Mogilev region, 91 routes have been developed to familiarize themselves with cultural and historical values and attractions.

All health resorts in the region are working to promote sanatorium and resort services through participation in exhibition events, use of the media, introduction of discounts, promotions, additional advertising events, and introduction of new types of services.

This work will continue in 2024.
