Health improvement for children in the Grodno region during spring break

During the spring holidays, 229 health, sports and recreation camps for 8,367 children are planned to operate in the Grodno region.
 
Throughout the week, interesting meetings, game programs, excursions and film screenings will be organized for children of different ages. Employees of cultural and sports institutions are actively involved in the implementation of work plans. Spring break for children is a release from the tension that has accumulated during the third quarter, a restoration of strength before the final quarter of the school year. The children will enjoy exciting excursions to museums of educational and cultural institutions.
 
For the first time in the region, on the basis of the educational institution “State Center for Corrective Developmental Training and Rehabilitation of Grodno”, at the request of parents, during the spring holidays, a day-time health camp was organized for 27 students for children with severe and multiple developmental disorders from 6 to 18 years old.
 
The plan of educational activities includes inclusive activities with students of general secondary education in Grodno. Sports, recreational and public events will be held in groups, in the music hall, in the hall for correction of motor activity and in an open area with specialized equipment for disabled children. The activities of associations of interests were organized by specialists from the educational institution “Grodno State Regional Ecological and Biological Center for Children and Youth”.
