City training seminar on organizing children's health in the summer of 2024
15-May-2024On May 7, 2024, the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee held a city training seminar on organizing children’s health in the summer of 2024.
The seminar was organized by the representative office of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, and the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
The seminar was attended by representatives of interested committees, departments and services of the city, heads of education departments of Minsk district administrations, specialists from education departments in charge of health improvement issues, heads of country health camps. Consultant of the Department of Social, Educational and Ideological Work of the Ministry of Education Tatyana Osmolovskaya took part in the work of the city training seminar on the organization of children's health.
The seminar was opened by the head of the representative office of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Nafranovich V.A.
In his speech, he noted that for the first time during the summer school holidays, 25 country children's health camps (out of 30) will operate in 5 shifts, and the Druzhba camp of the Republican Unitary Postal Enterprise Belpochta will be organized in the summer 6 wellness shifts.
V. Nafranovych noted that this year more than 77 thousand young Minsk residents will be able to relax in children’s camps of all types during the summer holidays (in 2023 - 74,479 children).
V. Nafranovych drew attention to the fact that it is becoming traditional to improve the health of children with disabilities at the expense of the capital’s budget: with diabetes mellitus and cardiopathology.
In 2024, an agreement was reached to improve the health of 160 disabled children with endocrinological and cardiological diseases, accompanied by one of their parents.
In addition, the head of the representative office noted that in the summer of 2024. In military-patriotic camps at the bases of military units, border outposts, educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the health improvement of children who have come into conflict with the law and who are brought up in dysfunctional families will be organized.
Representatives of interested institutions and services of Minsk spoke to the participants of the seminar.
Mikhail Manuilov, head of the department for supervision over the implementation of legislation on minors of the Minsk City Prosecutor's Office, reported on measures aimed at ensuring control over business entities organizing group recreation and recreation for children.
The deputy head of the prevention department - head of the group for prevention and juvenile delinquency of the department of law enforcement and prevention of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, D. Meleshko, reported on the organization of the protection of public law and order in country health camps.
The basic fire safety requirements for the opening and operation of summer health camps were voiced by the chief specialist of the supervision and prevention department of the Minsk City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergei Mazan.
Rysevets A.V., head of the department of educational and ideological work of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, told the seminar participants about the features of educational work in health camps.
Issues of personnel and medical support for the summer health campaign were highlighted by the head of the department of medical care for mothers and children of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Yarmak Ekaterina.
Tatyana Ostrovskaya, medical hygienist (head) of the hygiene department for children and adolescents of the hygiene department of the State Institution Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, told those present about the sanitary and hygienic requirements for the organization and operation of country health camps.
Lyudmila Krupskaya, director of the State Enterprise Minsk School Nutrition Plant, outlined in her report the staffing of catering units at country health camps and compliance with the requirements for catering in accordance with approved standards.
Summing up the results of the seminar and answering questions from the participants, Valery Nafranovich obliged the heads of health camps to take comprehensive measures to ensure the proper organization of the safe stay of children undergoing rehabilitation in country health camps, drawing attention to the personal responsibility of the heads of enterprises that own country camps, heads of health camps for immediate adoption of measures to eliminate and prevent offenses, accidents and emergencies during the summer health campaign.
