The 2024 summer health campaign in the Minsk region was held within the framework of the republican campaign "Effective Summer", the regional campaign "Summer in the Minsk region: effective and safe". Educational work in health camps of the Minsk region was organized in accordance with the instructional and methodological letter of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus "Features of the organization of educational work in educational and health institutions of education during the summer health campaign of 2024".

Particular attention was paid to activities to educate citizenship and patriotism in the younger generation. One of the current areas was the formation of a respectful attitude towards state symbols in students. The camp shifts opened with assemblies with the raising of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus and the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.

A shift called "We are the heirs of Victory" was held in the children's health camp "Veresk" of the Cherven district. On the basis of the Educational Institution "Institute of the Border Service of the Republic of Belarus", a military-patriotic camp "Zastava" was organized for students of the State Educational Institution "Ratom Secondary School" of the Minsk District.

A health military-patriotic camp "Young Defenders of the Fatherland" was operating in the State Educational Institution "Radoshkovichskaya Secondary School No. 2 of the Molodechno District".

A quiz "The Great Patriotic War - a history of achievements and victories" was held in the health camp "Dozor" of the State Educational Institution "Lyadenskaya Secondary School" of the Cherven District.

A screening of patriotic films "Time Has Chose Us", "A Girl Is Looking for a Father", "Son of the Regiment", "Brest Fortress", "A Horse for a Hero" was organized in the health camps of the Borisov District; Pupils of the State Educational Institution "Oressa Health Camp" of the Lyuban District" took part in watching patriotic films "Soldier", "Girl Looking for Father", "Cry of Silence", "Mom, I'm Alive".

A three-day military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa" was held at the State Educational Institution "Stationary Health Camp "Nacha-Kletsk" of the Kletsk District, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Patriot Day was held at the Health Camp "Leader" of the State Educational Institution "Children's and Youth Creativity Center of Cherven". Pupils of the camp took part in a thematic discussion "We are proud that we are Belarusians!", a quiz game "All about Belarus", a master class in diamond embroidery "I love Belarus!" Excursion trips within the framework of the republican excursion marathon "Children's road train", visits to objects related to the military history of the region, the fates of participants, eyewitnesses and victims of wars, excursions to successful enterprises and institutions in order to get acquainted with the socio-economic achievements of the country were timed to coincide with significant events in the history of the country. During the summer holidays, the pupils of the health camps were actively involved in tourist and excursion activities. Particular attention was paid to excursions and tours of a military-patriotic focus: to the memorial complexes "Mound of Glory", "Khatyn", "Dalva", "Popova Ridge", the historical and cultural complex "Stalin Line", the State Institution "Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War", memorial sites of district and regional significance.

Pupils of the labor and recreation camp "Mara" of the State Educational Institution "Vishnevetskaya Secondary School" of the Stolbtsy District visited the memorial museum-estate of Yakub Kolas "Akinchitsy", pupils of the health camp "Lesnaya Skazka" of the Pukhovichi District visited the museum of military glory of the 5th separate special forces brigade in the city of Maryina Gorka.

During the fourth and fifth shifts, a number of events dedicated to the Year of Quality were held in the health camps of educational institutions of the Minsk Region. Information corners and photo zones dedicated to the Year of Quality have been equipped in educational and health institutions. Pupils of health camps get acquainted with the achievements of our country in various fields, visit state enterprises, and museums of labor glory. As part of the implementation of the educational project "School of Active Citizen" and the Year of Quality on the theme "My Homeland Belarus in Faces" in the State Educational Institution "Health Camp "Oressa" of the Lyuban District" for the pupils, a dialogue platform "Together we are strong and invincible!" was held with the participation of the first deputy chairman of the ROO "Patriots of Belarus" Yulia Artyukh.

The State Educational Institution "Health Camp "Neman" of Stolbtsy District" held a theme day "Made in Belarus" dedicated to the Year of Quality. The main categories of the day were quality and efficiency. As part of the theme day, an excursion to the Stolbtsy branch of the Gorodeya Sugar Refinery was held.

In order to ensure the maximum possible health-improving effect and maintain the students' ability to work in the future, the educational plans of the health camps included a wide range of physical education, health and sports events. Morning exercises, walks and games in the fresh air were held daily, students visited physical education and health centers and swimming pools. In the summer, free access to physical education and sports facilities on the territory of educational institutions is provided, including in the evening.

The health camp "Leader" of the State Educational Institution "Children's and Youth Creativity Center of Cherven" held an excursion to the physical education and health complex "Igumen" and a sportslandia "Planet of Healthy Childhood". Pupils of the day camp of the State Educational Institution "Kurkovskaya Secondary School" of the Smolevichi District spent one of the days of the camp at the 62nd central communications center of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, where they had the opportunity to compete in shooting from pneumatic weapons.

A checkers tournament was held among the pupils in the Lesnaya Skazka health camp of the Pukhovichi District.

The formation of a healthy lifestyle of the population is one of the priority areas of educational work with students. Among the activities in this area in health camps are following a daily routine, proper nutrition, the "Clean Hands" campaign, preventing bad habits through film lectures, talks, trainings, etc.

The following events were organized for the children of health camps in the Minsk region: campaigns "We are against bad habits", "Beware of strangers!", "We are for a healthy life without danger!", information and prevention hours "Stop: alcohol!", talks "Responsibility for offenses", "Safe road", debates "Bad habits. Impact on human health", "Children of health camps against drugs", drawing competitions "We are for a healthy lifestyle".

As part of spiritual and moral education in health camps in the Minsk region, volunteer events, talks, thematic meetings, round tables were held.

Institutions of additional education for children and youth, cultural institutions took part in organizing leisure activities for children of health camps in the Minsk region on a daily basis.

When organizing work in health camps, special attention was traditionally paid to the safety of minors and the rules of safe behavior.

As part of the republican campaign "Holidays without smoke and fire", the pupils of the health camp "Rodnik" of the State Educational Institution "Lyubanskaya Secondary School of the Vileika District" visited the Educational Center for Life Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Minsk. The children were taught the correct behavior in the event of a dangerous or emergency situation, and were taught the rules of fire extinguishing using interactive models of fire extinguishers.

A meeting with employees of the Slutsk District State Educational Institution "Slutsk Physical Culture and Health Center for Students" was held at the health camp "Zenitchik".

Pupils of the State Institution "Health Camp "Belye Rosy" of the Minsk District met with an employee of the Minsk District Department of Emergency Situations and discussed the topic of "Safety Rules in the Summer".

The State Educational Institution "Children's Health Camp "Druzhba" in the settlement of Energetikov in the Dzerzhinsky District was visited by the propaganda workers of the ROChS of the Dzerzhinsky District and they conducted safety lessons for the campers.

A safety minute "Behavior on the Water" was held in the health camp "Patriot" of the State Educational Institution "Shchitkovichskaya Secondary School of the Starodorozhsky District".

An excursion to the OSVOD rescue station was organized for the campers of the day camp "Rodnik" of the State Educational Institution "Lyubanskaya Secondary School of the Vileika District".

As part of the "Care" campaign, the Juvenile Affairs Department and the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Pukhovichi District Department of Internal Affairs together with the employees of the Health Institution "Maryinogorsk Central District Hospital" held a preventive event "Safety and Responsibility of Minors"

for the campers of the State Educational Institution "Health Camp "Lesnaya Skazka" in the Pukhovichi District". In the health camp "Rescuer" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Borisovskoye Cadet School of Minsk Region", organized by the Main Education Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee and the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the active life of the children continued throughout all 9 days: classes in medical training, drill training, fire sports and many other interesting activities.

During the fourth and fifth shifts, the implementation of the republican information and educational campaign "Step to Success" was continued in the health camps. The organizers of the campaign are the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus together with the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Sports, the BRSM Public Organization, and the BRPO Public Organization. As part of the "Step to Success" campaign, famous media personalities, representatives of the security forces, education, sports, culture, science, public associations and leading enterprises of the country visited the health camps of the Minsk region.

A meeting with Elena Krylova, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "7 days", was held at the State Institution "Health Camp "Veresk" of the Cherven District.

A meeting with Vladislav Igorevich Smantser, chairman of the Zhodino District Organization of the ROO "Patriots of Belarus", was organized at the State Institution "Health Camp "Veresk" of the Cherven District. The State Educational Institution "Lesnaya Skazka" Health Camp of the Pukhovichi District was visited by Anastasia Kiselevich, Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and Anastasia Bedulina, Deputy Head of the Department for Work with Youth, Public Associations and Formations of the Republican Youth Center, Chairperson of the Republican Council of Working Youth under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Pupils of the State Educational Institution "Paparats-kvetka" Health Camp of the Berezinsky District met with Anastasia Matskevich, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, responsible specialist for conducting career guidance and ideological work in the industry.

A meeting with Grigory Azarenok, political observer of the STV channel, host of the "Secret Springs of Politics 2.0.", "We" column, was held at the State Educational Institution "Vileika District Health Camp "Skazka". Information about the summer health campaign was posted on the pages of district and regional newspapers, as well as on the official websites of the Main Department of Education of the Regional Executive Committee, the State Educational Institution "Minsk Regional Institute for Education Development", the Departments (Departments) of Education, Sports and Tourism of District City Executive Committees, the Education Departments of District Executive Committees, educational institutions of the Minsk Region, and the Telegram channel "Education of the Minsk Region.
