The 18th Republican tourist rally of teams of employees of children's rehabilitation and health centers of the Republic of Belarus was held from September 6 to 8 at the Children's Rehabilitation and Health Center Nadezhda (Minsk Region, Vileika District) with the assistance of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Spa Treatment of the Population.

The main goal of this event is the broad promotion and development of physical culture, sports and tourism.

Teams from 9 children's rehabilitation centers of the Republic of Belarus took part in the tourist rally.

The following were present at the opening and closing of the event:

- Tsai Alexander, Deputy Director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Spa Treatment of the Population;

- Evseeva Irina, Head of the Representative Office of the Minsk Regional Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Spa Treatment of the Population;

- Gavrishchuk Oleg, chief specialist of the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism of the Vileika District Executive Committee.

The program of the tourist rally was very eventful. It included sports competitions and creative competitions. In some sports competitions, the teams were separated from each other by 1-2 seconds! The intrigue remained until the final results were announced. As a result:

3rd place - DROC "Kolos";

2nd place - DROC "Svitanak";

1st place - DROC "Nadezhda".

The winners received diplomas, medals and valuable gifts.

The theme of the 18th Republican tourist rally of teams of employees of Children's rehabilitation and health centers of the Republic of Belarus is "IN THE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS". The teams spent three unforgettable days on the shore of the Vileika Reservoir. Those who had known each other for a long time and those who were just joining the friendly team of employees of the DROCs met here. All participants of the tourist rally received commemorative medals from the organizers of the tourist rally.

In 2002, the Children's Center "Nadezhda" initiated the Republican tourist rally and hosted the 1st rally on its territory. The Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population supported the initiative, and the tourist rally became a tradition. In 2025, the 19th Republican tourist rally of teams of employees of children's rehabilitation and health centers of the Republic of Belarus is planned to be held in the DROC "Zhdanovichi". Director of the Children's Rehabilitation and Health Center "Nadezhda" Vyacheslav Makushinsky passed the baton - a symbolic tourist cauldron - to the captain of the team of the Children's Rehabilitation and Health Center "Zhdanovichi".
