22-Nov-2024

In order to ensure high-quality organization of health improvement and recreation for children and adolescents during the autumn holidays of the 2024-2025 academic year, to create conditions for active educational leisure for students, 268 health camps with daytime and round-the-clock stay for children were organized from October 28, 2024 to November 1, 2024, including:

266 day camps organized on the basis of general secondary education institutions, additional education for children and youth, where more than 15.3 thousand capital schoolchildren were improved;

2 round-the-clock specialized camps lasting 9 days, organized on the basis of suburban health camps, where about 280 children from Minsk were improved.

In the day camps, three full meals a day were organized for children (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack).

Each educational institution has developed a special health and educational program for students, including physical education, sports and cultural events, games, competitions, tournaments, classes in interest groups: clubs, sections, clubs, watching feature films and documentaries, holding themed discos and other events.

In addition, specialized programs were offered for children during the autumn holidays. The list of specialized programs is quite wide: environmental, artistic, career guidance, programs for the prevention of child road injuries, sports, etc.

For children attending day camps, maximum conditions were created for health improvement, recreation, rational use of vacation time, the formation of a general culture and healthy lifestyle skills. About 280 Minsk schoolchildren had the opportunity to usefully spend their time, improve their health and relax during the autumn holidays not in the city, but in the countryside in the health camps "Horizon" of the branch of the open joint-stock company "N Holding" Social Complex, as well as "Polytechnic" on the basis of the student sanatorium-preventorium "Polytechnic" of BNTU. The health camp "Horizon" opened its fourteenth inter-season health shift during the autumn holidays of 2024. In "Horizon", a number of educational programs were offered to the children to choose from. For example, young bloggers in Blogger Camp were not only taught how to create an account on Tik Tok from scratch and promote it, look for trends and use them to increase their audience, but also learned a lot about safe behavior on the Internet. During the IT classes, the kids were taught the basics of website building, where they were offered a set of classes during which they were able to take their first steps in creating a web page.

Those who like to puzzle over a difficult task gathered in the IQ Camp project. During the intellectual development classes, the kids not only trained their logical thinking, but also learned the basics of economics and finance.

In the Magic Camp educational project, the kids deepened their knowledge of English. The classes were aimed at removing the language barrier, increasing vocabulary and increasing interest in learning English.

During the doodling master class, the students learned to create an art puzzle of the happiest memories and moments. Thus, through play, the children got the opportunity to get to know the world of their feelings and emotions.

As part of the Stars Camp project, practical classes in acting, pop vocals and stage choreography, classes with elements of training in liberation and removing clamps were organized for the kids. The schoolchildren learned how to use a microphone. The children were also offered master classes in stage combat and stuntmanship. No less interesting was the training session on applying stage makeup.

The health camp "Polytechnic" on the basis of the student sanatorium-preventorium of the Belarusian National Technical University holds a traditional autumn vacation shift "China without Borders" for children, where master classes in the Chinese language and the study of Chinese culture are organized for schoolchildren.

Taking into account the round-the-clock stay of children in the camps, a full 5-time balanced diet was organized for children, which, in combination with natural factors, active recreation, educational and physical education and sports events, provided a good health effect.
