15 families from the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics that suffered the most from military actions rested in the Zheleznodorozhnik sanatorium in the Vitebsk region. On December 26, 2024, 40 people, including 23 children, arrived for a rest at the sanatorium located in the village of Malye Letsy in the Vitebsk region.

This is already the fourth event, which is organized with the support of the Alexey Talai Charitable Foundation, enterprises of the northern region and the regional public organization "Belaya Rus".

Healthy procedures, good nutrition, swimming in the pool, entertainment events and gifts for the New Year - many of the guests have managed to forget about such simple things of ordinary peaceful life. In the sanatorium on the Vitebsk land, vacationers tried not to remember the bad in order to fully enjoy their rest under the peaceful sky.

The vacationers met with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov and the Paralympic athlete, public figure Alexey Talay.

The meeting of families with the honored guests was emotional. Words of gratitude, strong hugs and tears of joy - no one hid how happy it was to touch a peaceful life.

Dmitry Demidov noted that this is not the first time that health improvement for residents of Donbass is organized in the Vitebsk region.

Both adults and children took with them contacts of new friends from Belarus, hundreds of photos, a lot of energy and warm memories.
