In 2024, the representative office fulfilled the targets for health improvement and spa treatment of the region's population using state funding sources. Thus, by the end of the year, 119.2 thousand residents of the region, or 103% of the plan, received health improvement in spa and health organizations. 32.6 million rubles of state funds were spent on the implementation of these tasks. 4,815 vouchers were purchased and sold for non-working pensioners at the expense of the republican budget, of which 1,853 vouchers were for persons with an out-of-turn and priority right to free spa treatment at the expense of the republican budget, and accompanying persons (disabled persons and participants of the Great Patriotic War, disabled persons of groups I and II, etc.). During the reporting period, 336 vouchers were sold for law enforcement agencies, 837 vouchers for students, and 3,316 vouchers for working citizens at their place of work.

Particular attention is paid to the organization of spa treatment and health improvement for children. In 2024, 108.1 thousand children in the region received health improvement in sanatoriums and health camps of all types. Of these, about 6.8 thousand children from among those living and studying in contaminated areas, 765 disabled children, 3.4 thousand children of working citizens received spa treatment, and 97.1 thousand people in health camps, including 66.5 thousand children in the summer.

The coverage of health improvement for children in the Brest region in the summer of 2024 from the number of students amounted to 45.8%, with the national average being 42.4%. In 2024, 26.7% of children improved their health at the suburban base of stationary camps (2023 - 22.9%).

In the summer of 2024, there were 23 stationary health camps in the region with 3,694 beds, which worked in 4 or more shifts and were almost 100% loaded.

In 2024, 7.6 million rubles were spent from all sources to strengthen their material and technical base, including 6.3 million rubles from the local budget.

Significant funds for strengthening the material and technical base were sent to the State Educational Institution of the Health Camp "Zarnitsa" of the Education Department of the Drogichin District Executive Committee, the State Educational Institution of the Health Camp "Salut" of the City of Brest of the Education Department of the Brest City Executive Committee, the State Educational Institution of the Stationary Health Camp "Sputnik" of the Education Department of the Luninets District Executive Committee, the Children's Health Camp "Electron" of the branch "Baranovichi Electrical Networks" of the RUE "Brestenergo".

There are currently 17 certified health resort and health organizations of various departmental subordination and forms of ownership in the Brest Region, including 13 health resort organizations, 3 recreation centers, 2 health centers. According to the results of 2024, 115.9 thousand adults and children received treatment and rehabilitation at the health resorts and health institutions of the region, which is 13% more than the previous year. The total revenue from the sale of services by health resorts at the end of the reporting year amounted to 123.1 million rubles, which is 118.7% of 2023. The export of services for 2024 amounted to 23.1 million rubles or 145.6% of the previous year, 17.5 thousand foreign citizens were treated. The health resort system in the Brest region is constantly developing. Every year, health resorts invest significant funds in major and current repairs, the purchase of new modern medical equipment and inventory, and landscaping. Thus, in 2024, health resorts spent 23.4 million rubles for these purposes, mainly from the owner's funds (in 2023 - 19.4 million rubles).

Significant funds are invested in the sanatoriums "Ruzhansky", "Bug", "Brestagrozdravnitsa", "Solnechny" from year to year.

The issue of ensuring the safe stay of the population during spa treatment and health improvement is under special control.

Interdepartmental working groups have been created in the regions of the Brest region to monitor the activities of spa and health organizations with on-site visits. In 2024, these working groups inspected 19 spa and health institutions. In addition, the representative office conducted 9 unscheduled visits to the health resorts of the region.

Work on effective spa treatment and health improvement of the population of the Brest region will be continued.
