The city sports and patriotic festival of country camps "We are the heirs of Victory" was held in the educational and health camp "Belarus" of the Minsk Tractor Plant on July 17.

The festival has already become traditional for the country camps of the Partizansky district of the capital. This year, camps of the Moskovsky and Frunzensky districts joined it - a total of 7 teams. This event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Artem Tsuran, the Deputy Head of the Partizansky District Administration, City Council Deputy Roman Bondaruk, the leading specialist of the Minsk City Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Marina Zelinskaya, the management of the Minsk Tractor Plant, and representatives of law enforcement agencies arrived to declare the festival open.

– The festival is held with the participation of the military. They demonstrate live both the equipment, and the techniques, and the skills that are used in the army. The guys can see everything with their own eyes. We pay tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers, the heroes who defended our Motherland. The competitive spirit always unites children - these are new acquaintances, new contacts that the guys establish among themselves, especially since these are different camps. Well, and to see how others are preparing is also very important. The fact that the city authorities are looking for new opportunities to unite young people, new interesting forms - a priority and very right. Standing on the stage, I was immediately transported to my childhood, when I led the "Zarnitsa" squad. The game was during the school year - we wore uniforms, sang patriotic songs, learned to march - all this was, and not in vain. We understand that a certain foundation was laid back then, which allowed that generation to preserve our country, and also to convey the main values of Belarus to the youth now, - said Artem Tsuran

At the festival, the squads demonstrated their strength and ingenuity in the competition of the review of the formation and song, held the military-sports game "Zarnitsa".

- At the moment, 278 children are improving their health in the health camp "Belarus" of the Minsk Tractor Plant. Many events are held. In the first shift, we had "Young Rescuer", then "Young Traffic Inspector". This festival is being held for the first time: last year we took first place in it, so this year we are hosting guests. The next shift will be an open inter-camp tourist rally. We are constantly looking for new forms of holding. Today we have 11 "Zarnitsa" lines: a minefield, a crossing, assembly and disassembly of weapons, a field kitchen, lines with special equipment - the children will be very interested. This is also an experience, maybe in the future it will influence someone's choice of profession, - informed the head of the educational and health camps of OJSC "MTZ" Anastasia Kuteeva.

In the final of the competition, the Grand Prix of the festival "We are the heirs of Victory", as in the previous year, was awarded to the educational and health camp "Belarus", and the first place was won by "Teremok" OJSC "Holding Management Company "Minsk Motor Plant".
