Educational work in camps in Brest region in summer 2025
12-August-2025Summer holidays are the time when children can replenish their strength, restore their health, develop their creative potential, a time of discoveries and adventures, a time of games, events, meeting new friends and encountering miracles.
Of course, all this can be obtained during a vacation in stationary educational and health camps, in camps with day stays. You can relax and maintain your athletic form in sports and health camps or bring public benefit in labor and recreation camps.
Over three shifts in the summer period of the current year, 54.9 thousand children of the region have already rested in camps at the expense of the republican budget, including 16.1 thousand children in round-the-clock camps, with day stays - 38.8 thousand children. In the region, 750 camps of various types are organized and each day is filled with a variety of educational work with children. Thus, during the summer health campaign, work continued on the implementation of the information and educational project "Step to Success: NOT Boring Summer - NOT Boring Meetings" with the organization of motivational talks aimed at developing civic and patriotic consciousness, legal culture, achievements of national culture and modern Belarus in young people. Authoritative media personalities, representatives of the security forces, education, health care, sports, culture, science, public associations and leading enterprises of the country were involved in this work.
Thus, the Honored Cultural Worker of the Byelorussian SSR, People's Artist of Belarus, composer, musician Eduard Khanok met with the pupils of the State Educational Institution "Health Camp "Druzhba" of the Baranovichi District" and the State Educational Institution "Regional Children's Health Camp "Yuventa".

Aleksey Talai, a famous Belarusian Paralympian, motivational speaker and public figure, visited the State Educational Institution "Health Camp "Salut" of Brest", where he shared his experience and inspiration with young people. Aleksey also held several master classes, where participants could learn from him not only sports skills, but also life strategies.

Particular attention in the summer health campaign of 2025 is given to the organization of thematic shifts of a patriotic nature.
Thus, on the basis of the branch of the UO "BSMCT" "Youth Patriotic Center", which is located in the Brest Fortress, 200 children were recuperated in two shifts in a military-patriotic camp with a round-the-clock stay for 15 days. A camp with a 24-hour stay "Pribuzh'e" was organized on the basis of one of the military units in the Brest district, where 90 children will receive health improvement, learn about life and some military strategies in three shifts. Also, on the basis of two stationary camps of seasonal operation ("Brigantina" and "Porechye" of the education departments of the Ivanovo and Pinsk district executive committees, respectively), military-patriotic shifts were organized to improve the health of 303 children.
In many camps, the military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa" and "Zarnichka" was held.

The camps of the region take an active part in the events of the republican campaign "Summer for Children".
As part of the campaigns "Safe Holidays" and "Care", meetings with representatives of law enforcement agencies, healthcare institutions, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and OSVOD are held in the camps.

Thematic days were organized in the camps of the region throughout all shifts: "Day of Savings", "Day of the Entrepreneur", "Day of the Belarusian Fair" and others, within the framework of which events were held to improve financial literacy.
Also, active work aimed at preventing suicidal behavior, extremist activity, crimes against public safety, public order and public morality continued in the camps.
