Modern medical facilities, interesting leisure activities, and delicious and varied cuisine at affordable prices make Brest health resorts attractive not only to Belarusians but also to foreign tourists. In the first nine months of this year, 16,800 citizens from near and far abroad received spa and resort treatment at health resorts and health facilities in the Brest region. Revenue from services to foreign citizens from January to September 2025 amounted to 26.3 million rubles, representing a 147.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Vacationers are offered a variety of treatment programs and rehabilitation procedures to help improve their health and strengthen their immune system. Along with natural resources, health resorts widely utilize a variety of physiotherapy methods, exercise therapy, massage, acupuncture, and a variety of other modern medical services.
Considerable attention is being paid to strengthening and developing the material and technical infrastructure of the region's health resorts. During the reporting period, 26.2 million rubles were spent on major and ongoing repairs, landscaping, and the purchase of inventory, medical, and technological equipment. Significant investments are made year after year at the Ruzhansky, Nadzeya, Bug, Brestagrozdravnitsa, and Solnechny sanatoriums.
For example, at the Nadzeya sanatorium, Brestoblgaz RUPP, the club and dining hall was reconstructed into a medical building, at a cost of approximately 6 million rubles.

3.7 million rubles were spent on strengthening the material and technical infrastructure of the Ruzhansky Sanatorium OJSC. This year, the resort created a recreation area, including three outdoor swimming pools and a vending machine selling beverages, ice cream, and other goods.

Ensuring the safe stay of the population during spa treatment and health improvement is under special control. Interdepartmental working groups have been established in the Brest region to monitor the activities of health resorts and health facilities. Over the first nine months of 2025, these working groups inspected 11 health resorts and health facilities.
