Results of work on health improvement and spa treatment of the population in the Mogilev region for 2025
24-February-2026In 2025, 90,500 residents of the Mogilev region were provided with sanatorium-resort treatment and recovery using the funds of the republican budget and the budget of the state non-budgetary fund of social protection of the population. 16.5 million rubles of state funds were used to implement these tasks.

At the expense of the state social insurance and the republican budget through the commissions for recovery and sanatorium-resort treatment of enterprises, organizations from among working citizens and their minor children, 5383 people were directed to sanatorium-resort treatment and recovery, including 2940 children free of charge, including 789 accompanied by an adult.
Special attention was paid to the rehabilitation of the most socially vulnerable categories of citizens. First of all, these are children under the age of 18 who have been diagnosed with a disability.
In 2025, 294 disabled children were cured.
Also, at the expense of the republican budget, vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment were allocated in an extraordinary order to 11 disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War and their equals, and 1102 unemployed disabled people of the I and II groups, who have the right to priority provision of vouchers.
With partial payment from the cost of the tickets, 3,118 people from among unemployed labor veterans and disabled people of the III group, including 93 pensioners of the security forces, were sent to sanatorium-resort organizations.
Particular attention is paid to the rehabilitation of the population of the region, which suffered after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and above all, children living and studying in the territories contaminated with radionuclides.
In 2025, 6,134 such children, including 99 of preschool age accompanied by one of their parents, underwent sanatorium-resort treatment and recovery in the region. Also, 8 non-working disabled persons of the II group (art. 18) who suffered from the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant were rehabilitated. 45 children of the Mogilev region, who suffered from the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, were also provided with rehabilitation at the expense of the budget of the Union state.

In the region, 100% coverage of sanatorium-resort treatment is provided for children with appropriate medical indications who suffered from the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Also, over the past year, 73,793 schoolchildren were rehabilitated in health camps.
Out of the total number of healthy population of Mogilev region with the use of state funds in 2025, 92.0 percent were children.
