Health improvement for children of the Mogilev region during spring break
31-Mar-2026The spring break in the Mogilev region has had a busy and exciting start. From March 23 to 29, 2026, 270 day camps were organized, providing recreational opportunities for 7,164 schoolchildren.
The Mogilev Regional Office of the Republican Center for Health and Spa Treatment allocated over 198,000 rubles for these purposes.
The average total cost of a trip across the region was 32.86 rubles for children aged 6-10, 34.72 rubles for those aged 11-13, and 39.60 rubles for those aged 14-17. Each child received state assistance in the amount of 27.7 rubles to reduce the cost of trips.
During the camp shift, various competitive and game-based programs, intellectual programs, preventative discussions, thematic talk shows, and physical education and health activities were held.
All events were aimed at improving children's health, spiritual and moral development, civic, patriotic, intellectual, labor, and environmental awareness, developing their creative potential, and meeting their physical needs.
For example, the spring stage of the "Museum Vacation" battle project took place during the holidays. The event was organized as part of the regional project "#Maia_Zamlya_Prydnyaproўe" by the state institutions of additional education, the "Everest" Creativity Center of Mogilev and the "Rodnichok" Children and Youth Creativity Center of Mogilev, with the support of the State Institution for Scientific and Methodological Support of Educational Institutions of Mogilev.
Students from Mogilev educational institutions were able to visit museum exhibits, participate in themed quizzes, and learn more about our country's historical heritage.
As part of the citywide "Safe Holidays – for the Benefit!" campaign, the students discussed important topics.
The students once again reviewed traffic rules and safe behavior on public transport. Thanks to the qualified traffic police officers of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the event was informative, positive, and beneficial for every participant.
Holidays are a wonderful time of opportunity, new experiences, and unforgettable memories!
