Summer health improvement for children of the Grodno region
25-Jun-2026During the first shift, 29,000 children spent time at educational, health, and sports camps in the Grodno Region. Of these, 23,800 were in day camps and 5,200 in full-time camps.

The camp programs offered a variety of activities, creating a rich daily experience. Events covered a wide range of activities aimed at the comprehensive development, health improvement, and patriotic education of children. Each day brought new knowledge and impressions and was filled with events, smiles, and discoveries. Fun relay races, table tennis competitions, active games, and play therapy energized the children and taught them teamwork. Creative workshops allowed everyone to showcase their talents.
As part of events dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman, children met with women – workers, professionals, activists, and leaders. The children enthusiastically discussed their professional paths, the secrets of their craft, and their values.

Special attention was paid to health and safety: health minutes were devoted to the most pressing topics, from tick bite and sunburn prevention to traffic rules and fire safety. All camps held events aimed at preventing the use of smoking and smokeless tobacco products, as well as the use of electronic smoking systems.

Balanced meals—breakfasts, lunches, and dinners—prepared by caring chefs provided the young campers with energy for a busy day.
Summer vacation is not only a carefree time but also a wonderful opportunity for development, learning, and strengthening friendships.

In total, over 50,000 children are expected to receive health care at camps in the Grodno Region during the summer. Systematic interdepartmental oversight is ensured for the activities of the health camps.
