On the sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation of children of the Mogilev region in the I quarter of 2020 affected by the Chernobyl disaster

One of the priority tasks of the State program to overcome the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster for 2011-2015 and for the period until 2020 is to provide the affected population with sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation. In Q1 2020, in the Mogilev region, 2819 children and adolescents of the region who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster benefited from sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation, of which 2782 were children in organized groups, 37 children aged 3 to 6 years living in the territory radioactive contamination accompanied by parents.
 
Children received rehabilitation and treatment in 22 health centers located both on the territory of the republic and abroad, 140 children and adolescents used the spa treatment at the Belaya Rus sanatorium (Tuapse).
The costs of sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation from the republican budget amounted to 2517.2 thousand rubles, including 129.7 thousand rubles for travel expenses.
