On the results of health improvement of the population of Grodno region in 2020
19-February-2021In 2020, the Grodno Regional Administration of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population directed 9593 people to improve their health.
Including at the expense of state social insurance funds received sanatorium treatment 5758 people. Of these, 3074 children, including 2068 children in sanatoriums for children, 938 children in mother and child sanatoriums (departments).

Within the framework of the State program for overcoming the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, 1176 people were rehabilitated. Including in the structure of organized groups - 1064 children living or studying in contaminated areas. For health improvement they went to the recreation center "Lesnaya Polyana", the center "Zhdanovichi", the center "Nadezhda".
At the expense of the republican budget, 1808 veterans of law enforcement agencies received sanatorium-resort treatment, including 599 invalids of I-II groups and war veterans, 5 invalids and a participant in the Great Patriotic War. Most of the vacationers were received by the sanatoriums of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection: "Berezina", "Belaya Vezha", "Vyazhuti", "Yaselda".
