Organization of health improvement of children in the Minsk region during spring break

In the Minsk region during the spring holidays from March 27, 2022 to April 3, 2022, 347 health camps are planned to work, in which 9,700 children will receive health improvement, of which about half of the camps will work for rural children.
 
For these purposes, the Minsk Regional Department of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population allocated 238,620.0 thousand rubles.
 
The average cost of a voucher will be 30.58 rubles, of which the average parental supplement is 6.00 rubles.
Activities to organize the rehabilitation of children during the spring holidays of general secondary education institutions will be carried out on the basis of orders from the departments (departments) for education, sports and tourism of the district city executive committees and approved work plans. Enrollment of students will take place strictly on the declarative principle with the primary right to improve the health of children from large and low-income families, as well as students with whom individual preventive work is carried out.
 
Before the start of the holidays, all educational institutions will conduct safety lessons to teach students the rules of safe behavior during the spring break.
 
Educational work with students will be carried out in accordance with the approved work plans in the following areas: sports and recreation, aesthetic, environmental, intellectual. In the region, fruitful cooperation has been established in organizing children's leisure with institutions of additional education for children and youth of a physical culture, health and sports profile.
 
During the spring break, events will be organized aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries, illegal actions, the use of drugs and smoking mixtures. All health camps will host interdepartmental thematic events on safe behavior on roads, water bodies, in the forest, and on the prevention of traffic accidents involving children and adolescents.
 
Nutrition in health camps will be organized on the basis of exemplary diets, developed taking into account age categories, the physiological needs of the child's body. This diet is developed on the basis of the principle of sparing nutrition, with the exception of the most indigestible and spicy dishes. The menu will include fruits, juices in a varied assortment, bifidine. In each health camp, a marriage commission will be created by order of the educational institution. Mandatory laboratory control over the quality and safety of cooked food will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of sanitary norms and rules.
