Meeting with the staff of the children's department "Borovichok" of the branch "Sanatorium "Radon" of JSC "Belagrozdravnitsa"

As part of the visits of members of the republican information and propaganda groups, the children's department "Baravichok" of the branch "Sanatorium "Radon" of OJSC "Belagrazdraunitsa" was visited on April 11 by the director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Gennady Nikolayevich Balbatouski. Together with Deputy Chairman of the Dyatlovsky District Executive Committee Kukharevich I.S., Deputy General Director of Belagrozdravnitsa OJSC Ponomarev V.A., Deputy Head of the Grodno Regional Administration for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Troinel L.I., Chief Physician of the Radon Sanatorium Karpishevich L.G. he got acquainted with the material, technical and medical base of the health resort. 

The head of the department Marmysh V.V. told about the activities of “Borovichok”, designed to improve the health of 176 children per arrival, who conducted an excursion for the guests with a visit to the catering unit and canteen, as well as a school where young vacationers not only study, but also work in associations by interest.

It has already become a practice that representatives of the republican government bodies monthly visit organizations in the areas of activity, meet with labor collectives, study problematic issues, and inform about current changes and trends.

 

In market conditions, the system of sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation of the country not only works stably, but also develops dynamically, as evidenced by an average annual occupancy rate of 80 percent. Vacationers are attracted by the natural potential of our country, the medical base of sanatoriums and experienced medical personnel. There are about 90 wells with mineral water on the territory of Belarusian health resorts, each of them is unique in its properties. Sanatoriums use sapropel mud from 5 deposits. On the example of the same sanatorium "Radon" it can be noted that it is the positive effect of natural factors that attracts vacationers here.

 

There are 102 sanatoriums with 28,000 beds in Belarus, including 7 children's sanatoriums and 12 children's rehabilitation and health centers for children. Taking into account the social orientation of our country and demographic processes, the emphasis is on the health of the child population. Director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Gennady Nikolaevich Bolbatovsky thanked the staff of the children's department "Borovichok" for their contribution to strengthening and maintaining the health of the child population of the country, and wished them further success in their work.
