Improvement of population health Mogilev region for 9 months of 2023

Over the 9 months of 2023, using state social insurance funds and the republican budget, 66,857 people were made healthy in the Mogilev region.

At the expense of state social insurance funds, through the commissions for health improvement and sanatorium-resort treatment of enterprises, organizations from among working citizens and their minor children, 4,074 people were sent for sanatorium-resort treatment and health improvement, of which 2,161 were children.

Of the total number of vouchers received using state social insurance funds, 53.0% (2161) were issued free of charge to children, 12.1% (494 vouchers) were paid in the amount of 15% of their full cost by parents traveling with children and 34. 9% (1419) of vouchers were issued with partial payment.

Particular attention is paid to improving the health of the most socially vulnerable categories of citizens. First of all, these are children under the age of 18 who have been identified as disabled.

For January-September of this year. 234 people, including disabled children, were sent for free sanatorium-resort treatment. In total, 42.8% of the number of disabled children who applied were improved and 74.8% of the plan for 2023.

Also, free of charge, at the expense of the republican budget, vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment were allocated for 6 disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War and those equivalent to them, and 692 non-working disabled people of groups I and II, who have the right to priority provision of vouchers.

With partial payment from the cost of the vouchers, 1,526 people were sent to sanatorium and resort organizations, from among non-working labor veterans and disabled people of group III, including pensioners of law enforcement agencies.

Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the health of the population affected by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and above all children living and studying in areas contaminated with radionuclides.

For this category of children, annual free sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation is provided - one of the most significant and effective measures to reduce the negative impact of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster on their health.

For 9 months of this year. In the region, 4,791 such children received sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation, including 429 of preschool and primary school age, 1 disabled child (Article 18), 125 aged 3 to 6 years, accompanied by one of the parents. Also, 5 adults, non-working disabled people of groups I and II, who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster, were healed.

The region has provided 100% coverage of sanatorium-resort treatment for children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster with appropriate medical indications.

Also, during the reporting period, 6 students and 55,371 schoolchildren were healed in health camps.

Of the total population of the region recovered using public funds in January-September 2023, 93.6 percent are children.

In total, 20,356.8 thousand rubles of public funds were used to improve the health of the population of the Mogilev region, of which 2,919.4 thousand rubles or 14.3 percent were reimbursed by individuals.
