During the winter holidays, 10,411 children from the Minsk region improved their health in 337 day camps.

The main focus of the educational and health camps was civic and patriotic education. The work on forming a respectful attitude towards state symbols in students remained relevant.

To ensure the maximum possible health-improving effect and to maintain the students' ability to work in the future, the educational work plans of the health camps included physical education, health and sports events. Morning exercises, walks and games in the fresh air were held daily.

In the health camp "Rescuers" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 4 in Zhodino", morning exercises were held by primary school teachers for the physical development of students, the development of endurance, agility, courage; sports and game programs - "New Year's starts", "Snowball", "Winter starts". Children took part in relay races with great pleasure, got acquainted with new outdoor games, remembered their favorite games.

On December 31, 2024, in the camp "Snegovichok" of the State Educational Institution "Krupskaya District Gymnasium", the children began the morning with an information digest "Prevention of colds and infectious diseases". During a conversation with a medical worker, the campers received recommendations and advice on maintaining health, discussed the rules for preventing colds and infectious diseases, the hardening process, and showed in practice how to properly wash your hands. Then the children were expected by the Olympic Games of Snowmen.

In the educational and health camp "Winter Tale" of the State Educational Institution "Polochanskaya Secondary School of the Molodechno District", a virtual journey through the native land "Polochanskie Prostory" took place. The children "walked" through the pages of Polotsk attractions. In the quiz "What do I know about Belarus" schoolchildren answered questions about our country.

In the State Educational Institution "Zazhevichskaya Secondary School of the Soligorsk District" the camp shift was held under the motto "PROrest: high-quality, patriotic, bright!" The theme of the shift is dedicated to the Year of Quality, which contributes to the education of the younger generation based on the traditional values ​​of the Belarusian people, forms respect for the historical past and achievements of our country at the present stage, popularizes the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus.

During the holidays, thematic events were held on the basis of museums, museum rooms of educational institutions.

In the health camp "Solnyshko" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Neman Secondary School" of the Uzda District, an excursion to the school museum "Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War" was organized for the pupils.

In the health camp "Druzhba" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 5 of Smolevichi" during the winter health improvement period for the campers, a video magazine "Little Heroes of the Great War" was held as part of the campaign "Great Victory - 80!".

The plans of the health camps widely present the aesthetic direction of the educational process.

Every day, new adventures awaited the children from the health camp "Winter Town" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Rakovskaya Secondary School" of the Volozhinsky District: as part of the second day of "Boulevard of Wisdom", the campers visited the museum of traditional culture in the urban settlement of Ivenets, where a master class on making an angel was organized for them, the process of making a jug was demonstrated, and an ethnographic excursion "The Life and Everyday Life of Ancestors" was held.

In order to realize the creative potential of children, to form moral and aesthetic qualities and tolerance in students, to develop creativity and collectivism in the health camp "Bobrenok" on the basis of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 2 in Zhodino", the following visual activities were held: "Our Detachment House" (arrangement and decoration of detachment corners), a drawing competition "Winter Dream", and a master class "Miracles at Christmas".
