Summer is a time when children have the opportunity to improve their health, make new acquaintances and impressions that will remain in their memory for a lifetime. One of the excellent options for organizing children's leisure time at this time is an educational and health or sports and health camp. By sending a child to camp, parents can be sure that he will be provided with a full hot meal, useful, interesting activities and active recreation in the fresh air. And you need to take care of a ticket to the camp for your child today.

In the Brest region, in the summer, it is planned to improve the health of 62.6 thousand children in camps of all types, including 39.8 thousand people with day stay and 22.8 thousand people with round-the-clock stay.

In connection with the entry into force of the Resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of July 15, 2024 No. 509 "On the organization of health improvement for children in educational and health centers, educational and health and sports and health camps" and of January 3, 2025 No. 6 "On the procedure for confirming the readiness of camps to work during the holidays", changes were made to the procedure for organizing the summer health campaign.

Thus, the right to receive a voucher, the cost of which is reduced at the expense of the republican budget, have:

to an educational and health camp - children mastering the content of one of the educational programs of general secondary education or educational programs of special education at the level of general secondary education and who do not have medical contraindications to health improvement;

to a sports and health camp - children-athletes.

Provision of camp services to a child is carried out on the basis of a camp voucher, as well as an agreement between the parent (person replacing him) and the camp organizer (person authorized by him), which is concluded upon payment of the parental fee.

A camp voucher, the cost of which is reduced at the expense of the republican budget, is issued:

to orphans and children left without parental care - by the educational institution at the child's place of study;

to other categories of children - by the organizer of this camp (person authorized by him).

Working groups have been created in city and district executive committees that will assess compliance with the requirements for safety and proper quality of camp services. These same working groups will accept them no earlier than three weeks and no later than seven calendar days before the start of summer holidays.

By April 1 of this year, all organizers of educational and health, sports and health camps sent information about the camps being prepared for work to the city and district executive committees at their location. At present, a list of camps of various types preparing for work during the summer holidays has already been compiled.

In stationary educational and health camps of seasonal operation, work has begun to prepare the bases for receiving children.

In February of this year, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee V. Kravchuk approved the Plan for strengthening the material and technical base of suburban educational and health camps of the Brest region for 2025, which includes all the necessary measures to bring the bases into compliance with the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological well-being, fire safety.

The most important task of all interested services is to organize a safe, interesting holiday for children this summer, which they would remember for the rest of their lives only with positive impressions.
