Activities of health resorts and health facilities in the Gomel region for the first 9 months of 2025

In the first nine months of 2025, health resorts and spa facilities in the Gomel Region sold 93,597 vouchers, including 27,258 to the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, 21,421 to legal entities, and 44,918 to individuals. This represents a 102.2% increase in voucher sales compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue from service sales amounted to 115.4 million rubles, or 117.6% compared to the same period in 2024.

From January to September, 26,146 foreigners vacationed and improved their health at health resorts in the Gomel Region, or 112.0% compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue from service exports amounted to 39.4 million rubles, or 132.7% compared to the same period in 2024, including 6.1 million rubles in additional paid services rendered to foreign citizens.

The average occupancy rate of health resorts and health facilities in the Gomel Region for the first nine months of 2025 was 85.5%.

Health resorts allocated over 9.5 million rubles to maintaining and strengthening their facilities during the first nine months of 2025, including approximately 220,000 rubles to creating accessible environments for individuals with disabilities. Design work, modernization and reconstruction work, renovations of administrative and residential buildings, utility areas, and other facilities are underway, and new high-tech equipment has been purchased.

Work has continued on developing excursion routes to introduce clients to nearby cultural and historical sites and attractions. Information about ongoing events and tourist routes is posted on information boards, news tickers, and on the resort's website.

To increase demand for spa and wellness services, vacationers are provided with the most comfortable conditions possible: superior rooms, organized leisure activities, and a wide range of treatment, diagnostic, and cosmetic services.

All health resorts in the region are promoting their spa and wellness services through participation in exhibitions, media outlets, discounts, promotions, additional advertising, and the introduction of new services.
