Future doctors gain new experience at the Neman-72 sanatorium

19-Mar-2026

The student medical team "Neman 72" named after Hero of the Soviet Union S.P. Aleinikov has begun work. The team includes students from the Faculty of General Medicine of the Grodno State Medical University.

The sanatorium is constantly evolving: new procedures are being introduced, demand for therapeutic and health services is growing, and the number of vacationers is increasing. In these circumstances, the assistance of student teams is crucial.

Working with a student team is extremely beneficial, especially for those who have not yet chosen their specialization. It is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the sanatorium's physiotherapy work and learn the procedures that help people. After all, sometimes the most important stage is not just providing treatment, but ensuring the patient's rehabilitation. Thanks to this, people regain lost functions, return to their normal lifestyle, and are able to care for themselves and work independently.

Over the years, the sanatorium has developed a good relationship with various student teams. Medical students worked as nurses, service teams helped in the restaurant and cafeteria, and construction teams contributed to the development of the infrastructure. This practice continues this year. During their shift, students will be involved in the sanatorium's operations as mid-level and junior medical staff. Their responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, caring for patients, maintaining sanitary conditions, and other tasks.

For the sanatorium, this is an opportunity to provide assistance to a larger number of guests. For students, it's a chance to master new rehabilitation and treatment methods and procedures, which will certainly be useful in their future medical practice. Young people always bring fresh ideas. Students propose interesting solutions – whether it's developing social media, landscaping, or other initiatives. The sanatorium's management always listens attentively to these suggestions.
