Single information day at «Frost» LLC

22-April-2026

April 26, 2026, marks the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident—the worst man-made disaster in human history. This date not only commemorates the tragedy but also marks a day of mourning for the victims, a day of gratitude to the liquidators, and an opportunity to reflect on the lessons the world has learned from Chernobyl's aftermath. In the four decades since the disaster, Belarus has gradually restored life in the affected areas, traversing a complex path from post-disaster recovery, rehabilitation, and restoration to transition to sustainable socioeconomic development.

On April 16, 2026, Frost LLC, a joint venture located in the Drogichin District of Brest Oblast, held a Unified Awareness Day dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Henadzi Balbatouski, Director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population and a candidate of medical sciences, Leonid Makarevich, Deputy Chairman of the Drogichin District Executive Committee, and Ala Reshatniova, Head of the Brest Regional Office of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, met with the staff of the aforementioned enterprise.

During the meeting, issues related to overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, radiation safety, and the development of nuclear energy were discussed. Henadzi Balbatouski noted that over 80,000 children living in contaminated areas and with medical conditions receive free treatment and rehabilitation at our spa facilities every year. He also spoke about the work in the field of spa treatment and health improvement in the Republic of Belarus.

The guests continued their visit by touring the facility and learning about its working conditions and products.
