A press tour commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster took place in the Gomel region

During a press tour of the Gomel region, journalists and bloggers learned about life in areas affected by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident 40 years later. The three-day press tour concluded with a meeting with representatives of government agencies and organizations working to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

Speakers and participants discussed the results of efforts to restore the affected areas and the implementation of six state programs to address the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.

The head of the Gomel Regional Office of the Republican Center for Health and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population spoke to journalists and bloggers about the organization of spa treatment and rehabilitation for the population affected by the Chernobyl disaster, as part of the implemented state programs, and future work under the State Program "Health of the Nation" for 2026-2030.
