State certification of health resorts and health facilities in Minsk
30-September-2026To ensure the safety and proper quality of health and wellness services, as well as the effective and rational use of natural therapeutic resources, state certification of health resorts and health facilities in Minsk is being conducted this year.
State certification is being conducted in accordance with Resolution No. 248 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated May 15, 2026, "On the State Certification of Health Resorts and Health Facilities."
To organize and conduct state certification in Minsk, a working group has been formed in coordination with the Minsk City Executive Committee. This group includes representatives of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, structural divisions of the Minsk City Executive Committee in healthcare, education, and trade, the Minsk City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, and a public association for the disabled.
Since the beginning of the year, the working group has certified nine health resorts and five health facilities.
Based on the results, the certified organizations confirmed their status, and their directors were ceremoniously awarded state certification certificates valid for three years.
The State Institution "Berezina Republican Sanatorium for War and Labor Veterans and the Disabled" was confirmed as a "first-category health resort organization" for adults. The medical profiles identified include: circulatory diseases and nervous system diseases.

The State Institution "Vyazhuti Republican Sanatorium for the Disabled with Musculoskeletal Disorders" was confirmed as a "first-category health resort organization" for adults thanks to modernization and expansion of its services (previously, it was second-category). The medical profiles identified include: diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, and diseases of the circulatory system.
Henadzi Balbatouski, Director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population, presented a certificate of state certification during the grand opening of a new modern swimming pool.

The Rudnya Sanatorium, a branch of the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ Medical Center), has confirmed its status as a second-category adult spa and resort treatment facility. Medical profiles include: diseases of the circulatory system, respiratory system, musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, digestive system, and nervous system.

The Talka Health Center, a subsidiary of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Railways, has been awarded the status of a second-category adult spa and resort treatment facility. Medical profiles include: diseases of the circulatory system, respiratory system, and digestive system. This event marks another important step in the development of Belarusian health resorts: it significantly increases the effectiveness of treatment and makes sanatorium vacations even more attractive.

The only student sanatorium and health resort in the country, run by the Belarusian National Technical University "Polytechnic," has confirmed its status as a "health resort organization" for adults. The following medical profiles have been identified: circulatory diseases, respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases, and nervous system diseases.
This year, the sanatorium and health resort underwent a major renovation. Modernization was completed, and new equipment was purchased. Plans include the addition of living quarters on all floors and the development of the facility's facilities.

The "OLIMPIYSKIY" Sports and Health Complex, a unitary enterprise of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, has confirmed its status as a "health resort organization" for adults, assigning it the second category (previously the third).

The certification of Minsk health resorts and spa facilities will continue.
